چکیده
Background: Colorectal carcinoma (CRC) is one of the most common human cancers. It fourth cause death from cancer. cancer third in men and second women worldwide. Objective: To evaluate immunohistochemical expression KAI-1/CD82 different stages colorectal to biological behavior tumor target therapy. Patients Methods: Thirty formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue (obtained archive Al-Azhar University Hospital Labs some private labs). Clinicopathological histological features were taken files confirmed by H&E examination. Immunohistochemical study was done using CD82/ (KAI-1) marker. Results: CD82 showed an insignificant relation with age, sex, site degree differentiation. A significant inverse relationship detected between cells stage according modified Duke's staging. Insignificant grade. Conclusion: The decreased membranous and/or cytoplasmic might be used as a prognostic marker monitor patient

Histopathological Evaluation and Analysis of Immunohistochemical Expression of Bcl-2 Oncoprotein in Colorectal Carcinoma
Abstract Introduction: Colorectal cancer is the third most prevalent malignancy with high mortality rate, necessitating markers that predict survival and guide the treatment. Previous studies have examined the immunohistochemical expression of Bcl-2, an apoptotic marker, in colorectal carcinoma, but results have been contradictory. Objectives: To evaluate the histopathological featu...
متن کاملImmunohistochemical Expression of HER2/neu in Colorectal Carcinoma
Colorectal carcinoma ranks fourth among the most common leading causes of cancer-related mortality in the world. Her2/neu oncogen is one of four epidermal growth factor receptors. It's located on chromosome 17q21 and encodes a 185 transmembrane protein with tyrosine kinase activity that functions as a growth factor receptor. Clinically, amplification and/or overexpression of Her2/neu has been a...
متن کاملImmunohistochemical Evaluation of Fascin in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Background and purpose: Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the eighth most common cancer in men and the fifteenth in women. Localized recurrence and metastasis to regional lymph nodes are major problems in these patients. Fascin is a 55- kDa protein from the family of actin-binding proteins that is expressed in cells with membranous bronchial tubes. The aim of this study was to evaluate the expre...
متن کاملAttenuation of EGF receptor signaling by a metastasis suppressor, the tetraspanin CD82/KAI-1
The 'metastasis suppressor' CD82/KAI-1, a member of the tetraspanin superfamily of transmembrane proteins, is widely distributed in normal tissues [1], and has been shown to be suppressed in the advanced stages of various epithelial malignancies [2-6]. Although the physiological relevance of this change is unknown, in vitro data show that ectopically expressed CD82/KAI-1 can suppress tumor cell...
متن کاملImmunohistochemical Expression of p53 and bcl2 in Colorectal Adenomas and Carcinomas Using Automated Cellular Imaging System
Background & Objective: The current approaches to reduce the risk of colorectal carcinoma are through the detection and removal of the precursor lesion” adenomatous polyps”. The study was conducted to evaluate the immunohistochemical expression of p53 and bcl2 in colorectal adenomas and carcinomas. Patients and Methods: A total of 86 cases, 33 colorectal adenomas, 33 colorect...
